Choose a Caption Preset

ClipMagic offers a variety of fonts and styles to choose from. Quickly apply different looks to your captions with just a few clicks, making it easy to match your content's vibe.

Once your video is added to ClipMagic, you can start editing the design of your captions. You can use our ready-made presets for your captions, or customize a preset to better suit your video. In this article, you will learn how to:

How to Use ClipMagic's Ready-Made Presets for Your Captions

Step 1: Click Design from the Left Menu.

Step 2: Under Default Presets, choose a preset that you like for your caption. Currently, we have 16 Default Presets that you can choose from. Once you select one of the ready-made presets it will be applied to your video right away.

Customize and Save Your Presets

The preset you initially selected can also be edited. To edit the presets follow the steps below:

  • Click Design from the Left Menu and then click the Settings tab. Here you can change the font style, color, highlight color, and many other features to tailor the preset to your specific needs and preferences.

  • To change the font style, click the arrow next to the current font style. A window will appear, displaying all available fonts. Select your preferred font from this list.

  • To change the text or highlight color, click the arrow next to each of them. Once clicked, the color window will appear and from there you can choose your preferred color for your text or highlight.

  • The settings that you used for your captions will be applied right away. In case you would like to save your current preset settings for future use, add a preset name and click on the "Save" button.

  • Your Saved Preset can be found in the Presets tab under User Presets.

  • Another way to save presets is by selecting the text on your video canvas and then clicking the Save icon.

  • After clicking the save icon add a name for your custom preset then click the Save button.

  • To delete a saved preset, hover your mouse/cursor over the custom preset and click the delete icon that appears.

  • Upon clicking the delete icon, a confirmation message will appear. Click 'Yes, proceed' to confirm the deletion of the custom preset.
