How to Trim Videos

Trimming your video in ClipMagic is a quick way to remove any unwanted footage right after importing your video. Keep in mind, that trimming is only available immediately after import. Here's how to get started with trimming in ClipMagic.

Step 1: Import your video to ClipMagic.

Step 2: After importing the video, click the "Trim" button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Once you click the 'Trim' button, a highlighted selection bar will appear over the video timeline. Drag the edges of the highlight to select the portion of the video you want to keep. Be sure to adjust the selection carefully, as any footage outside of the highlight will be removed.

Step 4: After you've finished adjusting the highlighted section to select the part of the video you want to keep and you have also selected a language, click the "Next" button to start editing your captions.
