Welcome to the Getting Started guide for ClipMagic! This introduction will walk you through the essential steps to begin using ClipMagic. Follow these instructions to set up, customize, and start improving your video content with clear and engaging captions. Adding a Video To ClipMagic
There are three ways to add videos to ClipMagic from the home page, you can click on the Create New button from the left menu and the right side of the home page. Additionally, you can drag and drop the video to the ClipMagic window.
After adding the video, you can preview it and select a language. Once that’s done, click the Next button. The video will now be added to ClipMagic.
Change Caption Presets
As soon as the video is added to ClipMagic, the captions will be available. To change your Caption Presets, click Design from the left menu. Here, you can change the Design Presets of the captions as well as the Settings.
To change the Caption Presets, choose your desired preset from the available options. See our article Change Caption Presets.
To further customize the caption, click on the Settings tab. Here, you can change the font, font color, highlight color, caption position, and more.

Edit Captions
Editing captions lets you personalize your videos by adding emojis, adjusting the word count per caption, modifying the text, and enhancing your content with videos, effects, and images.
To start editing your captions, click on Captions from the left menu.
Select a caption that you would like to edit.
Once a caption is selected, additional options will appear. Such as editing the text, adding emojis, adding videos, video effects, and images.
To edit the caption text, click on the text box. You can then enter or modify the text to customize your captions. If you would like to edit the design or scale of specific captions, check out our article Lock/Unlock Captions.
To add emojis to your captions, click Magic Emoji to automatically generate emojis, or click on the emoji icon to add emojis per caption.

To adjust the number of words per caption, select your preferred option between 1 and 5. The chosen number will determine how many words appear in each caption.

Create Engaging Captions by Adding Videos, Video Effects or Images
Make your captions stand out by integrating videos, video effects, or images. This option adds visual elements that make your content more engaging.
To add videos, video effects, or images, click on a caption. Then, select the corresponding icon for videos, video effects, or images to add the desired elements.
You can add your own video or images in ClipMagic and use them in your captions. To import your video or images, click the “My Footage” tab. Then, drag and drop the video into the window or click on it to import.

Video Style - Using Video Templates and Changing the Aspect Ratio/Resolution
Our video template feature provides a range of customizable templates that make it easy to enhance your video designs. Whether you're looking for dynamic layouts or creative themes, these templates simplify the process of creating visually appealing videos.
To use Video Templates click Video Style from the left menu.
Select and edit the video template.
To edit the video template, click on the text or images included with the template.
Additionally, if you use a template, it will also work with other resolutions and aspect ratios. Once you have selected a template, choose an aspect ratio that you would like to use.

Add Music Tracks to Your Videos
ClipMagic lets you seamlessly add music to your videos, enhancing the atmosphere and emotional impact of your content. With just a few clicks, you can choose the perfect soundtrack to complement your visuals and create a more engaging viewing experience.
To add music to your video, click Music from the left menu.
Then choose a music style or genre.
Select the check icon if you like to use the music you selected for your video.
Once you've picked a music track, you can customize the settings. You can adjust the volume, set a loop, and add a fade-in and fade-out. This is also where you'll find the option to remove the audio if you want to change it.

Add a Call-to-Action to Your Videos
You can add a custom Call-to-Action at the end of your video to drive engagement and encourage your audience to take the next step.
To add a Call-to-Action to your video, click "Call to Action" from the left menu.
Then select a Call-to-Action scene.
The Call-To-Action scene will be added at the end of the video. An indicator will be shown in the video progress bar after adding a scene.

Publish Your Project
After working on your caption, you're just one step away from sharing it with the world. To start publishing your video, go to "Publish" from the left menu.
Check the resolution of your video and then click the "Publish Video Now" button.
