How to Adjust Caption Scaling

Customizing the size of your captions is essential for creating a polished, viewer-friendly video. ClipMagic offers simple ways to scale captions for optimal visibility. Here’s how you can adjust caption scaling, both through the Design tab and using another method via the Captions tab.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to Design Settings:
    • On the left-hand menu, you’ll see several options, including Design, Captions, Video Style, Music, Call to Action, Optimize, and Publish. Click on Design.

  1. Open the Settings Tab:
    • Inside the Design section, you’ll see two options: Presets and Settings. Click on Settings.

  1. Adjust Caption Scaling:
    • In the Settings tab, locate the Scale option.

    • Use the slider to adjust the caption scaling from 0% to 150% as needed. Changes will be applied automatically.

Additional Method via the Captions Tab:

  1. Open the Captions Tab:
    • From the left menu, select Captions.

  1. Choose a Video Clip:
    • Once you're in the Captions section, you'll see options such as Magic Emojis and Words per Caption. Select any video clip from the timeline.

  1. Access the Paintbrush Icon:
    • For the selected video clip, you will notice three icons: Smiley, Paintbrush, and Trashcan. Click on the Paintbrush icon to open the styling settings.

  1. Adjust Scaling via the Paintbrush Icon:
    • In the small window that opens after clicking the Paintbrush, you will find an option for Scaling.

    • Adjust the caption scaling percentage here as needed.


You can fine-tune the size of your video captions in ClipMagic through either the Design tab or the Captions tab. Both methods offer a quick and flexible way to achieve your desired caption appearance, ensuring your content looks professional and readable.
